In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Gleason Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 56-30 win over the Clarksburg Rockets.
The Bulldogs (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, TN). The Golden Tornadoes come into the 1A District 14 contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Union City smashed Lake County (Tiptonville, TN), 62-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Halls Tigers (Halls, TN) in a 1A District 13 contest, on Friday, February 7. Clarksburg will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 3-15 record after their 56-19 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, TN).
