The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hart Pirates (Hart, MI) and the host Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI), observed Hart's basketball team knock off Mason County Central by a score of 57-46.
The Pirates (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Manton (Manton, MI). The Rangers come into the non-league challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Manton prevailed over Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 61-55, in a league challenge.

The Portagers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 46-44 league loss to Leland (Leland, MI).
