The Trinity Christian Gryphons nipped the host Highland Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 56-50 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Gryphons clash with the Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA) in a VISAA Division I outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 11-8 record after their 62-29 non-league win over Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA).
The Hawks (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA). The Badgers enter the Greater Piedmont match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Tandem Friends was nudged by Quantico (Quantico, VA), 40-25, in a league match.
