New Mexico High School Basketball - Hozho Academy thwarts Navajo Pine

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM) and the host Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), observed Hozho Academy's basketball team knock off Navajo Pine by a score of 50-31.
The Wolves (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Hawks come into the 2A District 1 challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Dulce prevailed over Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM), 49-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Ramah Mustangs (Ramah, NM) in a 2A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Navajo Pine will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 36-31 league loss to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM).
