In Thursday's league test, the Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), by a score of 57-27.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Crane Mustangs (Crane, OR) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 7. Stanfield will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 22-3 record after their 59-31 league win over Prairie City/Burnt River (Prairie City, OR).
The Knights (3-21) will now prepare for their test against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Blue Mountain test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Heppner bounced Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR), 51-41, in a league test.
