The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kohala Cowboys (Kapaau, HI) and the host Lanai Pine Lads (Lanai City, HI), observed Kohala's basketball team knock off Lanai by a score of 53-34.

The Cowboys (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanalani (Mililani, HI). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 24-4 record. In their last challenge, Hanalani prevailed over Damien (Honolulu, HI), 57-21, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pine Lads encounter the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors (Kea'au, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Lanai will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 53-37 non-league win over Castle (Kaneohe, HI).
