The Trojans (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks come into the 5A District 3 challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Centennial edged Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 48-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldawgs battle the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Monday, February 10. Las Cruces will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 33-30 league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM).
