In Thursday's league contest, the visiting St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds basketball team scored a good 46-26 win over the Mancelona Ironmen.

The Snowbirds (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the Ski-Valley contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Forest Area was topped by East Jordan (East Jordan, MI), 49-6, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Ironmen battle the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Mancelona will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 0-16 record after their 75-20 league loss to Pine River Area (Leroy, MI).
