The Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI) basketball were winner over the host Monona Grove Silver Eagles (Monona, WI), 63-47 in Thursday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Oostburg for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Waunakee will play a Flying Dutchmen team coming off a 74-27 league win over Sheboygan Christian (Sheboygan, WI). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 20-1.
With the loss, Monona Grove falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Silver eagles travel to DeForest (DeForest, WI) to play the Norskies in a Badger - Large bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Norskies go into the bout with a record of 9-12.
