The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ), observed Moon Valley's basketball team knock off Shadow Mountain by a score of 46-27.

The Rockets (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Skyline challenge with a 1-16 record. In their last challenge, Goldwater was knocked off by Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ), 84-21, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Skyline challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Shadow Mountain will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 50-36 league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ).
