In Thursday's non-league test, the Newton HomeSchool Panthers (Newton, KS) basketball squad trounced the host Non Varsity Opponent (, ), by a score of 48-8.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Chanute Christian (Chanute, KS) in a Kansas Christian A test, on Saturday, February 8. Newton HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
