Illinois High School Basketball - Oakwood routed by Salt Fork

Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL), 50-17 in a league match.

With the victory, Salt Fork upgrades its record to 25-2 on the year. The Storm travel to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a Vermilion Valley match on Monday, February 10. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 16-11. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won 49-38 in their recent league match against Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL)

The Comets now sport a 8-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schlarman for a Vermilion Valley match on Monday, February 10.
