The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) and the visiting Southaven Chargers (Southaven, MS), observed Oxford's basketball team overcome Southaven by a margin of 53-41.

The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-18 record after their 64-31 non-league loss to Hernando (Hernando, MS).
