The Viola Longhorns basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Shirley Blue Devils to 21 in the Longhorns league triumph on Thursday.

The Longhorns now possess a 14-14 record. They play next when they host Cotter for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Viola will confront a Warriors team coming off a 40-36 league win over Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 11-12.

With the loss, Shirley falls to 2-28 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-16. Midland lost 57-26 in their recent league game against Bradford (Bradford, AR)
