South Ridge Mavericks (Phoenix, AZ) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Telesis Prep Tigers (Lake Havasu City, AZ), 43-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Ridge advances its record to 2-9 on the year.
The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ville de Marie Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Telesis Prep will face a squad coming off a 43-6 league win over Paradise Valley Christian Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The record now stands at 17-0.
