The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) and the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), observed East Rutherford's basketball team edge Brevard by a score of 21-14.

The Cavaliers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-3 record.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Brevard will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
