The Albert Lea Tigers ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the host Red Wing Wingers to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mankato East for a Big 9 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Albert Lea will play a Cougars team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-9.
In their next game, the Wingers play the Austin Packers (Austin, MN) in a Big 9 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Red Wing will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Packers go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Windom (Windom, MN).
