In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Alexandria Cardinals ice hockey team scored a close 4-1 victory over the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.

The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Champlin Park edged Blaine (Blaine, MN), 3-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders play the Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. St. Cloud Cathedral will attempt to better on its 13-16 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Denfeld (Duluth, MN).
