The Waseca Bluejays ice hockey team scored 10 points and held the visiting Fairmont Cardinals to 0 in the Bluejays league victory on Thursday.

The Bluejays now own a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blake for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Waseca will play a Bears team coming off a 7-4 league win over Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Bears record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, Fairmont moves to 0-20 on the season. The Cardinals host Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Redwood Valley lost 12-2 in their recent non-league bout against Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN)
