In Thursday's non-league contest, the host New Prague Trojans ice hockey team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Waconia Wildcats.

The Trojans (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Jefferson edged Eagan (Eagan, MN), 3-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Waconia will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Orioles go into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN).
