New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho holds off Farmington

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Rio Rancho Rams basketball team scored a close 54-49 triumph over the Farmington Scorpions.
The Rams (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Volcano Vista nipped Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 84-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scorpions confront the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Farmington will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 14-3 record after their 63-37 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).
