High School Basketball - JV Opponent holds off Genoa-Kingston

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host JV Opponent basketball team scored a close 57-51 triumph over the Genoa-Kingston Cogs.
The (216-488) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsboro Christian Academy (Hillsboro, OH). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Hillsboro Christian Academy nipped JV Opponent (, ), 47-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cogs confront the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) in a contest, on Friday, February 7. Genoa-Kingston will attempt to better on its 20-6 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL).
