Ohio High School Basketball - Turpin nips Anderson

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH) and the host Anderson Raptors (Cincinnati, OH), observed Turpin's basketball team edge Anderson by a score of 49-45.

The Spartans (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Western Brown was tipped by Batavia (Batavia, OH), 76-41, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Raptors meet the Winton Woods Warriors (Cincinnati, OH) in a Eastern Cincinnati battle, on Friday, February 13. Anderson will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record.
