In Monday's non-league outing, the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) basketball squad edged the host Barbourville Tigers (Barbourville, KY), by a margin of 52-47.
The Raiders (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Clinton County held off Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY), 76-70, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Knox Central for a District 51 outing on Friday, February 11. Barbourville will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 91-54 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 21-6.
