Texas High School Basketball - Frankston holds off Cayuga

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) and the host Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), saw Frankston's basketball squad hold off Cayuga by a tally of 50-44.
With the victory, Frankston improves its record to 22-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-17. Cross Roads lost 89-29 in their recent league challenge against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Cayuga will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 23-6 record after their 75-29 league win over Kerens (Kerens, TX).
