In Monday's league outing, the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) basketball squad beat the host Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), by a count of 59-40.
The Clippers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Lions go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing with a 9-1 record. In their last outing, Largo was topped by Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD), 78-69, in a league outing.
The Cavaliers now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing on Tuesday, February 8. Crossland will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 78-23 league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-3.
