The Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL) basketball knocked off the host North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL), 49-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Storm (11-13) will now prepare for their test against Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 11-18 record. In their last test, Auburn went down by Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL), 45-27, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 9-19 record. They play next when they travel to Lincolnwood for a non-league test on Thursday, February 10. North Mac will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 34-25 non-league win over Ramsey (Ramsey, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 3-20.
