Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dongola Demons (Dongola, IL), 71-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Agape Christian upgrades its record to 28-6 on the season. The Knights host Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL) to play the Redskins in a South Egyptian bout on Thursday, February 9. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Shawnee lost 46-43 in their recent league bout against Cobden (Cobden, IL)

Next up, the Demons play the Pope County Pirates (Golconda, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Dongola will attempt to upgrade on its 0-21 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 71-51 non-league win over Century (Ullin, IL).
