Ohio High School Basketball - Aiken can't hold off Hughes

The Hughes BIG RED basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Aiken Falcons to 65 in the BIG RED league triumph on Tuesday.

The BIG RED now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Country Day for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8. Hughes will battle a Silver Knights team coming off a 58-38 non-league loss to Woodward (Cincinnati, OH). The Silver Knights record now stands at 15-6.

The Falcons (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Withrow (Cincinnati, OH). The Tigers enter the Cincinnati Metro contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Withrow was nudged by Taft (Cincinnati, OH), 74-41, in a league contest.
