The Aledo Bearcats basketball team (Aledo, TX), was toppled 56-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX)
The Pirates now possess a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brewer for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, February 10. Granbury will confront a Bears team coming off a 62-52 league win over Azle (Azle, TX). The Bears record now stands at 27-3.
The Bearcats (13-11) will now prepare for their battle against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 13-16 record. In their last battle, Rider was toppled by Saginaw (Saginaw, TX), 52-45, in a league battle.
