Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Aliquippa trounces Laurel

The Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA), 64-25 in Tuesday's league test.
The Quips (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats go into the WPIAL 2A 1 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Shenango walloped Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 61-27, in a league test.
The Spartan now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Northgate for a WPIAL 2A 1 test on Friday, February 10. Laurel will encounter a Flames squad coming off a 57-55 league win over South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Flames record now stands at 15-5.
