Utah High School Basketball - Alta crushes Orem

February 7, 2023: Orem, UT 84097

Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Orem Tigers (Orem, UT), 74-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Alta upgrades its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Timpview (Provo, UT) to play the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region 8 bout on Friday, February 10. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Timpview won 98-90 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Orem, UT)

Next up, the Tigers play the Timpanogos Timberwolves (Orem, UT) in a 5A Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 10. Orem will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 3-17 record after their 90-77 league loss to Mountain View (Orem, UT).
