California High School Basketball - Pacific Collegiate topped by Anzar

The Anzar Hawks basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Pacific Collegiate Pumas to 52 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kirby Prep for a PCAL - Santa Lucia contest on Wednesday, February 8. Anzar will battle a Griffins team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Pacific Collegiate (Santa Cruz, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 2-7.

The Pumas (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against York (Monterey, CA). The Falcons come into the PCAL - Santa Lucia contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, York was defeated by Ceiba College Preparatory Academy (Watsonville, CA), 54-32, in a league contest.
