The Brainerd Warriors basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host Apollo Eagles to 62 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Rapids-Rice for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Brainerd will battle a Storm team coming off a 68-67 league loss to St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Storm record now stands at 7-9.
The Eagles (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Tigers come into the AAA Section 8 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, St. Cloud Tech prevailed over Alexandria (Alexandria, MN), 67-57, in a league contest.
