The Armstrong River Hawks basketball team (Kittanning, PA), was nudged 50-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Titans now possess a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fox Chapel for a WPIAL 5A 2 battle on Friday, February 10. Shaler Area will confront a Foxes team coming off a 56-47 league loss to Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Foxes record now stands at 13-7.
The River Hawks (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Mustangs come into the WPIAL 5A 2 battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Plum was nudged by Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 72-44, in a league battle.
