North Carolina High School Basketball - Atkins fells High Point Central

February 7, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 65-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Atkins upgrades its record to 6-16 on the season. The Camels travel to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to play the Cougars in a 3A Conference 46 bout on Friday, February 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-19. Rockingham County lost 69-62 in their recent league bout against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC)

Next up, the Bison play the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Conference 46 bout, on Friday, February 10. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 48-45 league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
