Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), 80-73 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aurora East upgrades its record to 13-14 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to play the Storm in a Upstate Eight bout on Friday, February 10. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 17-10. South Elgin lost 50-42 in their recent league bout against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)

Next up, the Rams play the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Friday, February 10. Glenbard East will attempt to upgrade on its 7-21 season record. The Maroons come into the bout with a 10-18 record after their 42-40 league win over West Chicago (West Chicago, IL).
