Roscoe Plowboys (Roscoe, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX), 36-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Roscoe upgrades its record to 8-17 on the season. The Plowboys travel to Coleman (Coleman, TX) to play the Bluecats in a 2A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, February 10. The Bluecats go into the bout with a record of 19-11. Coleman won 46-28 in their recent league bout against Winters (Winters, TX)

Next up, the Dragons play the Miles Bulldogs (Miles, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, February 10. Bangs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 25-4 record after their 44-39 league win over Colorado (Colorado City, TX).
