Texas High School Basketball - Killeen ripped by Belton

The Belton Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Killeen Kangaroos to 34 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, February 10. Belton will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 73-57 league win over Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 22-12.
The Kangaroos (7-23) will now prepare for their contest against University (Waco, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A Region III District 22 contest with a 15-16 record. In their last contest, University was routed by Ellison (Killeen, TX), 57-48, in a league contest.
