The Easley Green Wave basketball team (Easley, SC), was nudged 50-49 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC)

The Bulldogs now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a AAAA Region 1 battle on Thursday, February 9. Berea will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 68-23 league win over Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 22-2.

The Green Wave (6-18) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwood (Greenwood, SC). The Eagles come into the AAAA Region 1 battle with a 7-18 record. In their last battle, Greenwood was nudged by Westside (Anderson, SC), 65-36, in a league battle.
