In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Mekeel Christian Academy Lions (Schenectady, NY) basketball squad felled the host Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights (Syracuse, NY), by a margin of 61-51.
The Lions (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY). The Cadets go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Albany Academy for Boys was beaten by Green Tech (Albany, NY), 61-53, in a non-league outing.
The Gaelic Knights now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Christian Brothers Academy for a Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty Central outing on Friday, February 10. Bishop Ludden will clash with a Brothers squad coming off a 76-48 league win over Bishop Grimes (East Syracuse, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 14-4.
