Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights (Powhatan, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host The New Community School Sabers (Richmond, VA), 51-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Knights host Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Isle of Wight Academy won 63-48 in their recent non-league bout against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Sabers clash with the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. The New Community School will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 65-50 non-league loss to Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA).
