Ganado Indians (Ganado, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX), 42-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Ganado upgrades its record to 7-19 on the season. The Indians host Shiner (Shiner, TX) to play the Comanches in a 2A Region IV District 28 bout on Friday, February 10. The Comanches go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Shiner won 70-41 in their recent league bout against Louise (Louise, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats/Lady Cats play the Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 28 bout, on Friday, February 10. Bloomington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-21 record after their 52-49 league loss to Ganado (Ganado, TX).
