The Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) basketball knocked off the host Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC), 67-54 in Tuesday's league test.

The Highlanders (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Hawks go into the 1A Conference 43 - Little test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Nantahala went down by Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 87-47, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a 1A Conference 43 - Little test on Thursday, February 9. Blue Ridge Early College will battle a Eagles team coming off a 87-47 league win over Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-12.
