Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) and the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), saw Boerne-Champion's basketball squad knock off Seguin by a count of 63-46.

With the victory, Boerne-Champion upgrades its record to 28-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to play the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 17-13. Wagner won 73-42 in their recent league challenge against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX)

Next up, the Matadors play the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Seguin will attempt to upgrade on its 19-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 55-53 league loss to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX).
