Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA), 59-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Bondurant-Farrar upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Bluejays host Knoxville (Knoxville, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Knoxville lost 79-57 in their recent non-league bout against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA)

Next up, the Comets play the Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, February 10. North Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Toreadors go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 52-41 league loss to Carroll (Carroll, IA).
