Tennessee High School Basketball - Munford crushes Brighton

February 7, 2023: Brighton, TN 38011

Munford Cougars (Munford, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN), 66-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Munford upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Haywood (Brownsville, TN) to play the Tomcats in a 3A District 14 bout on Monday, February 13. The Tomcats go into the bout with a record of 21-4.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN) in a 3A District 14 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-15 record after their 58-51 league win over Covington (Covington, TN).
