The Brookesmith Mustangs (Brookesmith, TX) basketball crushed the host Lohn Eagles (Lohn, TX), 70-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Cherokee (Cherokee, TX). The Indians go into the 1A Region III District 17 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Cherokee walloped Rochelle (Rochelle, TX), 56-32, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lometa for a 1A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, February 10.
