West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY), 85-49 in a league bout.

With the win, West Jessamine upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Colts travel to Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Burgin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY).
