Texas High School Basketball - Lago Vista overwhelmed by Burnet

The Burnet Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Lago Vista Vikings to 48 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marble Falls for a 4A Region III District 24 contest on Friday, February 10. Burnet will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 78-66 league win over Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-17.
The Vikings (9-24) will now prepare for their contest against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Badgers come into the 4A Region III District 24 contest with a 15-16 record. In their last contest, Lampasas triumphed over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX), 49-45, in a league contest.
